Bernardet was a French manufacturer of motorcycles and automobiles .
Company history
The three brothers René, Robert and Roger Bernardet founded the company Scooters Bernardet Société Anonyme in Bourg-la-Reine in 1921 . Initially, sidecars and motor scooters were created . In 1937 the company moved to Châtillon . Between 1947 and 1950 the company also manufactured a few automobiles. In 1957 the company was dissolved.
Automobiles
A small car was produced. The four - cylinder two-stroke engine with 798 cm³ displacement and 23 hp was installed across the front and drove the front wheels. The open body offered space for three people side by side. In 1949 the A 49 model followed as a coupé , the four-cylinder engine of which was reduced to 746 cc.
