Hotchkiss-Grégoire was a French car brand.

Company history

The Hotchkiss company from Saint-Denis used the brand name Hotchkiss-Grégoire from 1950 for vehicles that were based on the prototype Grégoire R by Jean-Albert Grégoire . Production ended in 1954. A total of 247 vehicles were built. Grégoire developed the vehicle further and launched it in 1956 as Grégoire Sport .

The only model had a four - cylinder boxer engine and front-wheel drive . The prototypes had a displacement of 1998 cm³ and the engine power was 60 hp , in series production an enlarged engine with a displacement of 2188 cm and 70 hp was used. The wheelbase was 250 cm, the vehicle length 465 cm. In addition to the sedan, there was also a coupe .

A surviving vehicle was auctioned on April 10, 2019 for the equivalent of 22,720 euros .
