Automobiles Buffalo was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Roland Beilé became aware of buggies during a stay in the USA . After his return, he founded the company in Strasbourg with André Koenig in 1969 and began developing automobiles. The first presentation took place on March 11, 1970. The brand name was Buffalo . The homologation did not take place until June 1972. Production ended in May 1974. A total of around 300 vehicles were built. Sarap took over the concept and marketed it as Sarap Buffalo .

The company made buggies. The engine was in the stern. A four-cylinder engine from Renault provided the drive . There was a choice of engines from the Renault 8 with a displacement of 1100 cm³ and the Renault 16 with a displacement of 1600 cm³.
