Automobiles Marathon SA was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Paris-based company started producing automobiles in 1953. The brand name was Marathon . Production ended in 1955. A total of 17 vehicles were built.

vehicles

The models were based on a design by Hans Trippel . The vehicles had a two - cylinder boxer engine from the Panhard Dyna X , later Panhard Dyna Z , which delivered 42  hp from a displacement of 850 cc . There were the models Corsair as a coupé and Pirate as a roadster.

A vehicle of this brand can be seen in the Manoir de l'Automobile in Lohéac .
