Jean Majola was a French manufacturer of automobiles and engines .
Company history
Jean Majola founded the company in Saint-Denis in 1908 to manufacture engines. In 1911 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Majola . The designer was F. Doutré. In 1920 Georges Irat took over the company. Production ended in 1928.

In 1911 the first model A appeared with an engine with a capacity of 1300 cm³ . Shortly afterwards, the Model B with a displacement of 1000 cm³ was added. Both models continued to be produced after the First World War . The DT model followed in 1921 with a capacity of 1390 cm³, which was available until 1927. In 1923, the F model with a displacement of 1100 cc replaced the B model . In 1927 a small model with an air-cooled two-cylinder engine appeared .
The vehicles were also used in car races such as the Le Mans 24 Hours .
