Autos Léger V. Crepet was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Messrs Crepet and Toussant founded the company in Lyon in 1904 to manufacture automobiles. The brand name was Auto Léger . The two owners employ four people and one apprentice. Production ended in 1907. A total of 3 vehicles were built.

The first vehicle was created in the Tonneau body shape and offered space for four people. It was later given a commercial vehicle body and was exhibited at the Paris Motor Show in 1904 . The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a cardan shaft .

The second vehicle was a chain drive two-seater .

The third vehicle had a cardan drive again and offered space for four people. The buyer was a doctor. These three vehicles had a self-developed two-cylinder engine with 9 hp . The transmission had three gears.

Another source also mentions the use of a four-cylinder engine .
