Company history

The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1900. The brand names were Chainless and Knowles Chain . Production ended in 1903.

Initially, there were the 8 CV and 12 CV models with two-cylinder built -in engines from Société Buchet . In 1901 there was the 16 CV in the Tonneau body shape . The 24 CV followed in 1903 as the largest model . All models were equipped with a cardan drive .

Brand name Knowles Chain

Under this brand name, vehicles with chain drives were built between 1900 and 1901.
