Lethimonnier et Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1903 . The brand name of the road vehicles was Sultans . The vehicle designer was Mr. Martin. Production ended in 1912. The Sultan Motor Company of Springfield, Massachusetts manufactured Lethimonnier et Cie vehicles under license and marketed them as Sultan .

The first model was the 10/14 CV with a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2400 cm³ . The 16/20 CV model followed in 1906 . In 1907 there were four-cylinder models from the 9/12 CV with 1800 cm³ displacement to the 45/60 CV with 7800 cm³ displacement. In 1907 the only model with a two-cylinder engine was presented, the 7/9 CV .
In 1907, two 45/60 CV racing cars under the brand name Martin-Lethimonnier took part in elimination races for the Kaiserpreis races , but could not qualify for the finals.
