Automobiles Ailloud was a French manufacturer of automobiles and bicycles .
Company history
Claude Ailloud founded the company in Lyon in 1897 to manufacture automobiles and bicycles. The brand name was Ailloud . Production ended in 1900. A total of around 20 automobiles were built. After giving up the company, Claude Ailloud founded the new company Automobiles Ailloud & Dumont together with Francisque Dumont .

The first model had a two-cylinder engine with 618 cm³ displacement and 5 hp that was mounted in the rear. The engine power was transferred to the rear axle by means of a chain. The transmission had three gears. A tubular frame served as the chassis . In later models the engine was placed in the front.
A vehicle received a silver medal at a bicycle and automobile exhibition in Lyon in December 1899.
