Laffly was a French manufacturer of commercial and military vehicles .
Company history
The company from Boulogne-Billancourt was founded in 1849 to manufacture fire fighting equipment. The brand name was Laffly . Some automobiles were built in 1898 . In 1912 the production of commercial vehicles began. Production ended in 1952.

The Model A was a small car . A single-cylinder engine provided the drive . The engine power was transferred to the rear axle by means of a chain. The open body offered space for two people next to each other.
The vehicle with the chassis number 13 has been preserved. It was on display during the summer of 2012 in the special exhibition When the Cars Learned to Run in the Pantheon Basel in Muttenz , Switzerland .
