Niklaus Starck

Niklaus "Niggi" Starck (born May 21, 1956 in Basel ) is a Swiss author .

Life

Niklaus Starck grew up in Basel, completed an apprenticeship as a banker and worked for 13 years in the human resources department of major banks in Basel and Zurich , before working as an independent management consultant and manager for private and public organizations and institutions in 1994. In the military, Niklaus Starck was a colonel and in command of the 22nd Infantry Regiment in Basel from 1998 to 2000.

Around the turn of the millennium around he retired in southern Switzerland, where he began to paint and write and work on the Ticino Cultural Portal Ticinarte recorded; there he works as a journalist. Starck writes biographies, chronicles, short stories, car and cookbooks. He also acts as the editor of forgotten texts by cultural workers who have lived and worked in the canton of Ticino, Schwarzbubenland and elsewhere (Porzio-Verlag, Breitenbach).
