Paul Dupressoir was a French manufacturer of automobiles and bicycles .
Company history
The company was founded in Maubeuge in 1892 to manufacture bicycles. In 1900 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Dupressoir . In addition, were chassis to other automakers like Voiturettes Clem and Crypto Engineering Company sold. Production ended in 1914.
Automobiles
Initially there were the 2 ¼ CV models with a built-in engine from De Dion-Bouton and 3 CV with an engine from Aster . The engines were either air-cooled or water-cooled and mounted under the seat. The Rolling model series followed in 1912 with the 7 CV , 9 CV , 10 CV and 12 CV models . Four-cylinder engines from Chapuis-Dornier provided the drive . The 9 CV corresponded to the British Averies 8/10 HP .
