Constructeurs Baille-Lemaire was a French company.
Company history
Jean-Baptiste Baille-Lemaire founded the company in Crosne in 1892 . He made binoculars , lenses and other things of optics . In 1898 the production of automobiles began . Automobile production ended in 1902. In 1935 the company was dissolved.
vehicles
The first model was equipped with a two-cylinder engine with 8 hp . As a special feature, the cylinders were air-cooled and the cylinder heads were water-cooled . The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via belts. Some of these vehicles took part in the Paris – Amsterdam – Paris car race in 1898 . The following models were designed similarly.
