Buffaud & Robatel was a French industrial company that manufactured locomotives , steam engines and automobiles , among other things .

Company history

Pierre Buffaud founded the company in Lyon in 1830 . The production of automobiles began in 1890 and ended in 1902. It is not known when the company was dissolved.

A steam car was built in 1890 . Tests were then carried out with vehicles with air motors . In addition, trucks with steam engines were made. Buffaud & Robatel were also involved in the construction of the Scotte steam car .
