Company history
The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1922. The brand name was Santax . Production ended in 1926.
vehicles
The first model was a cycle car . A single - cylinder two-stroke engine with a displacement of 125 cm³ provided the drive . Due to its small cubic capacity, the vehicle was exempt from vehicle tax and could be driven without a license.
A larger model followed in 1926. It was equipped with a single cylinder engine with 500 cm³ displacement and a three-speed gearbox. The original price was only 5,300 French francs , one third the price of a Citroen Type C .
