Charlatte SA was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was the successor company of Hrubon from Guebwiller . The location was at 17 rue Paul Bert in Migennes . In 1984 or 1985 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Charlatte . Production ended in 1986 or 1988.

The company made microcars that looked like a miniature version of the Mini Moke . Motors with a displacement of 50 cm³ provided the drive . Due to the small cubic capacity, the vehicles in France could be used without a license. Four-cylinder engines with a displacement of 1000 cm³ were also available.
