Suncar SARL , later Kamouh International France , was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company Suncar SARL from Annecy began in 1979 with the production of automobiles . The brand names were Suncar , Sun Car and SunCar . In 1984, Kamouh International France from Clermont-Ferrand took over production. Production ended in 1986.

vehicles

The Arpège model had an open, two-seater body in the style of the 1930s. The vehicle was based on the chassis of the Renault 5 , which was extended to 278 cm, and was equipped with the four-cylinder engine of the Renault 5 TS, which developed 64 hp . The vehicle length was 415 cm, the width 150 cm and the height 129 cm. A closed box van variant was named Arpège Camionette . The Suncar Arpège was built from 1980 to 1986 in an edition of 150 copies.

Based on the chassis of the Renault 4 , there was also the open Charade, similar to the Renault Rodeo . The vehicle was powered by a four-cylinder engine with 1108 cm³ and 24.5 kW and reached a top speed of 110 km / h.
