The SA KVS was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company based in Lyon -Chassieu presented in May 1969 the prototype of a mini-car forth. Series production began in 1973. The brand name was KVS . In 1976 M. Joseph Spaleck managed the company. About 15 people were employed. Up to 150 vehicles were built per year. Production ended in 1984.

The company manufactured microcars , also known as KV Mini . On offer were sedans and convertibles , the bodies of which, unlike many other small French cars, were made of metal and not plastic . Self-produced engines provided the drive. In the weaker Gad'Jet model , the engine had a displacement of 49 cm³ , in the more powerful Mini 125 model it had a displacement of 125 cm³. The vehicle was 210 cm long, 112 cm wide and 120 to 126 cm high. The weight was given as 180 kg. In 1982 a station wagon was added to the range.
