Ateliers de Construction des Motocycles et Automobiles , previously Ateliers de Construction des Motocycles et Accessories , ACMA for short , was a French manufacturer of automobiles and scooters .

Company history

The company from Fourchambault was founded in 1949 as a subsidiary of Piaggio . Scooters were manufactured there. Between 1958 and 1961 the company also manufactured a model of a car . The brand name was Vespa . The company closed in 1962.

cars

The only model was the Vespa 400 . This was a mini car . A total of about 34,000 copies were made.
