RJ Racing was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded on October 13, 1995. The location was at 6 rue du Gue in Écommoy . Other sources give the place Teloché . The production of racing cars began. Street sports cars were added in 1997. The brand name was Helem . Jean-Michel Roy, Bernard Dupont and François Gazuit ran the company. In November 2009 the company was dissolved.

The racing cars started in Le Mans and other car races.

The V6 GTR model was a road vehicle. It was a two-seat coupe with gullwing doors based on the Renault Sport Spider . However, the chassis was extended by 12 cm and was made of aluminum . The vehicle was 429 cm long and 110 cm high. A turbocharged V6 engine from Renault , which was derived from the engine of the Alpine A610 and developed between 260 and 280 hp , provided the drive . The transmission came from the same vehicle. The engine was mounted in the middle of the vehicle and drove the rear wheels. The maximum speed was given as 254 km / h and 285 km / h.
