Écommoy is a French municipality with 4677 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . Its inhabitants are called Écomméens .
geography
Écommoy is about 20 kilometers south of Le Mans . The Sarthe flows northwest nine kilometers away.
Infrastructure
The national road 138 from Le Mans to Tours runs through the village. The Autoroute A28 from Le Mans to Tours runs 5 km to the east.

Town twinning
Écommoy has had a partnership with the Lower Saxony town of Stuhr ( Diepholz district ) since 1977 . Since 1980 there has also been an annual youth exchange between the communities.
