geography

La Guierche is about eleven kilometers north of Le Mans . The Sarthe limits the community to the west. La Guierche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montbizot in the north and north-west, Souligné-sous-Ballon in the north-east, Joué-l'Abbé in the east, Neuville-sur-Sarthe in the south, La Bazoge in the south-west and Souillé in the west.
