Chaufour-Notre-Dame is a French commune with 1,067 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . Pruillé-le-Chétif is located in the Arrondissement of Le Mans and belongs to the canton of Le Mans-7 (until 2015: Canton Allonnes ). The inhabitants are called Calidofourniens .

Chaufour-Notre-Dame is located about nine kilometers west-southwest of Le Mans city center . Chaufour-Notre-Dame is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Quinte and Degré in the north, Aigné in the northeast, Trangé in the east, Fay in the east and southeast, Souligné-Flacé in the south and southwest and Coulans-sur-Gée in the west.
