Rouillon is a French commune with 2,259 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . Rouillon is located in the arrondissement of Le Mans and belongs to the canton of Le Mans-1 (until 2015: canton of Allonnes ). The inhabitants are called Rouillonnais .

geography

Rouillon is about four kilometers west of Le Mans city ​​center . Rouillon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Trangé in the north and northwest, Le Mans in the east, Allonnes in the south and Pruillé-le-Chétif in the west.
