Saint-Mars-d'Outillé is a French commune with a population of 2,418 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . Saint-Mars-d'Outillé belongs to the arrondissement of Le Mans and the canton of Changé (until 2015: canton of Écommoy ). Its inhabitants are called Saint-Martiens .

Saint-Mars-d'Outillé is about thirteen kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Le Mans on the Rhonne . Saint-Mars-d'Outillé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brette-les-Pins in the north, Parigné-l'Évêque in the east and northeast, Le Grand-Lucé in the east, Pruillé-l'Éguillé in the southeast, Marigné-Laillé in the south , Écommoy in the southwest and Teloché in the west and northwest.
The A28 autoroute runs through the municipality .
