Saint-Mars-d'Outillé is about thirteen kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Le Mans on the Rhonne . Saint-Mars-d'Outillé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brette-les-Pins in the north, Parigné-l'Évêque in the east and northeast, Le Grand-Lucé in the east, Pruillé-l'Éguillé in the southeast, Marigné-Laillé in the south , Écommoy in the southwest and Teloché in the west and northwest.
The A28 autoroute runs through the municipality .
