Saint-Pavace is a French commune with 1,925 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Le Mans and the canton of Bonnétable (until 2015: canton of Le Mans-Nord-Campagne ). The inhabitants are called Palvinéens .

Saint-Pavace is about three kilometers north of Le Mans city center on the Sarthe River . Saint-Pavace is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Saturnin in the north and north-west, Neuville-sur-Sarthe in the north and north-east, Coulaines in the east and south-east, Le Mans in the south and south-west and La Chapelle-Saint-Aubin in the west and north-west.
