H2D - Handshake 2 Germany was a private television broadcaster of the H2D GbR. The German-language specialty program will be on the air on September 6, 2016 and has set itself the goal of helping refugees to integrate and giving them an insight into the German way of life. The focus is on practical help with life, orientation in everyday life and the acquisition of the German language. Broadcasting ceased on December 31, 2017 at midnight.
The station is a joint venture between the High-View Group of Alexander Trauttmansdorff and the consulting firm Apfel TV Kontor. The Astra sister MX1 provides the capacity via Astra . The canal received its approval from the Berlin-Brandenburg media authority .

The program consists of interviews, conducted by presenter Emily Whigham as part of the self-produced program Studio H2D , as well as simple German courses, the France 24 program The Observers and videos, with which refugees are given the opportunity to present themselves to employers for a job . In addition, media, information and language offers for refugees, especially websites and mobile apps, are presented. The program is to be expanded step by step.
