The Canton balloon was by 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement Le Mans , in the Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town was balloon . Yannick Rebré ( PS ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2008 to 2015 .
geography
The canton Ballon was on average 80 meters above sea level , between 48 meters in La Guierche and 143 meters in Beaufay. The canton was in the center of the Sarthe department north of Le Mans. It bordered in the north on the cantons of Beaumont-sur-Sarthe and Marolles-les-Braults, in the east on the canton Bonnétable, in the south on the cantons Montfort-le-Gesnois, Le Mans-Est-Campagne, Le Mans-Nord-Campagne and Le Mans-Nord-Ouest and in the west to the canton of Conlie.
