The canton Mayet was 2015 a French constituency in the district La Fleche , in Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town was Mayet . Michel Royer ( DVD ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 1991 to 2015 .

The canton of Mayet was on average 68 meters above sea level , between 37 meters in Aubigné-Racan and 164 meters in Mayet. The canton was in the south of the Sarthe department. It bordered in the north on the canton Écommoy, in the east on the canton Château-du-Loir, in the south on the canton Le Lude and in the west on the canton Pontvallain.
