The Canton Montmirail was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement Mamers , in Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town was Montmirail . Dominique Le Mèner ( UMP ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Department from 2008 to 2015 .

The canton of Montmirail was on average 174 meters above sea level, between 75 meters in Saint-Maicent and 251 meters in Gréez-sur-Roc. The canton was located in the extreme northeast of the Sarthe department on the border with the Orne department. In the north it also bordered the canton of La Ferté-Bernard. Its eastern border was also the departmental border with the Eure-et-Loir and Loir-et-Cher departments. In the south it bordered the Canton of Vibraye and in the west on the Canton of Tuffé.
