The District of La Ferte-Bernard is a French constituency in Arrondissement Mamers , in Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town is La Ferté-Bernard . Jean-Carles Grelier ( LR ) and Marie-Thérèse Leroux ( DVD ) have been representatives in the General Council of the Département since 2015 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in March 2015, the canton of La Ferté-Bernard consisted of the 13 municipalities of Avezé , Cherré , Cherreau , Cormes , Dehault , La Chapelle-du-Bois , La Ferté-Bernard , Préval , Saint-Aubin-des- Coudrais , Saint-Martin-des-Monts , Souvigné-sur-Même , Théligny and Villaines-la-Gonais . Its layout corresponded to an area of 172.30 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7210.
