The Canton Loué is a French constituency in the arrondissements of La Flèche and Mamers , in Sarthe and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town is Loué . Fabien Lorne ( LR ) and Catherine Paineau ( DVD ) have been representatives in the General Council of the Department since 2015 . Until the administrative reform of February 15, 2006, the canton belonged to the Arrondissement of Le Mans .
The canton consists of 43 municipalities with 29,467 inhabitants (as of 2017) on an area of 687.98 km 2 :
Until the state-wide reorganization of the cantons in March 2015, the canton Loué consisted of the 14 municipalities of Amné , Auvers-sous-Montfaucon , Brains-sur-Gée , Chassillé , Chemiré-en-Charnie , Coulans-sur-Gée , Crannes-en-Champagne , Épineu-le-Chevreuil , Joué-en-Charnie , Longnes , Loué , Saint-Denis-d'Orques , Tassillé and Vallon-sur-Gée . Its layout corresponded to an area of 228.79 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7215.
