Bernay-Neuvy-en-Champagne is a French municipality with 862 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Mamers and the Canton of Loué .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Bernay-en-Champagne and Neuvy-en-Champagne , which were not granted the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Neuvy-en-Champagne.

geography
The community is located around 20 kilometers northwest of Le Mans . The municipality is crossed by the Vègre river. Neighboring communities are: Conlie in the north, Cures in the northeast, La Quinte in the east, Coulans-sur-Gée in the southeast. Amné in the south, Ruillé-en-Champagne in the south-west, Saint-Symphorien in the west and Tennie in the north-west.
