Le Grez is located about 35 kilometers northwest of Le Mans on the Vègre . Le Grez is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Pierre-sur-Orthe in the north and north-west, Sillé-le-Guillaume in the east and north-east, Rouessé-Vassé in the south and south-west and Vimarcé in the west.
