Saint-Aubin-de-Locquenay is a French municipality with 690 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Sillé-le-Guillaume . The inhabitants are called Saint-Aubinois .
Saint-Aubin-de-Locquenay is located about 31 kilometers north-north-west of Le Mans on the Sarthe . Saint-Aubin-de-Locquenay is surrounded by the neighboring communities Assé-le-Boisne and Fresnay-sur-Sarthe in the north, Saint-Germain-sur-Sarthe in the east and north-east, Moitron-sur-Sarthe in the south and south-east, Montreuil- le-Chétif in the west and south-west and Douillet in the west and north-west.
