Rouessé-Fontaine is a French municipality with 276 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Sillé-le-Guillaume (until 2015: canton of Saint-Paterne ). The inhabitants are called Rousséens .

Rouessé-Fontaine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ancinnes in the north, Louvigny in the north-east, Grandchamp in the east and south-east, Chérancé in the south-east, Coulombiers in the south and south-west and Fyé in the west.
