Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier is located about 49 kilometers north-northwest of Le Mans and about 18 kilometers west-southwest of Alençon . Saint-Paul-le-Gaultier is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Léonard-des-Bois in the north, Sougé-le-Ganelon in the east, Saint-Georges-le-Gaultier in the south, Saint-Mars-du-Désert in the southwest, Averton to the west and northwest and Gesvres to the northwest.
