Douillet (also Douillet-le-Joly called) is a French municipality with 328 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Sillé-le-Guillaume (until 2015 Fresnay-sur-Sarthe ).

Douillet is about 30 kilometers north-northwest of Le Mans . Douillet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sougé-le-Ganelon in the north, Assé-le-Boisne in the east and northeast, Saint-Aubin-de-Locquenay in the east and southeast, Montreuil-le-Chétif in the south, and Mont-Saint-Jean in the Southwest and Saint-Georges-le-Gaultier to the west and northwest. It belongs to the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park .
