Écorpain is a French municipality with 296 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the canton of Saint-Calais and the arrondissement of Mamers . The residents call themselves Écorpinois. In addition to the main settlement, Écorpain also includes the hamlets Cutibale and Gustave.
