Panon is a French commune in the region of Pays de la Loire in the Sarthe department in Arrondissement Mamers in Canton Mamers .

Geographical location

With 2.37 square kilometers and 44 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), the municipality is one of the smallest municipalities in France. The place is 112 to 147 m above sea level , in the midst of an intensely agricultural area about 40 km north of Le Mans and 5 km southwest of Mamers. In Mont-Renault you leave the Departement-Straße 300 coming from Mamers in a northerly direction and after 2 km you reach Panon. The Ruisseau-La-Saosnette flows through the village.
