Dangeul is a French municipality with 473 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Mamers and the Canton of Mamers . The inhabitants are called Dangeulois .

Dangeul is about 31 kilometers north-northeast of Le Mans . Dangeul is surrounded by the neighboring communities Thoigné in the north, Courgains in the north and northeast, Marolles-les-Braults in the east, Dissé-sous-Ballon in the east and southeast, Mézières-sur-Ponthouin in the southeast, Congé-sur-Orne in the south, Nouans in the west and René in the northwest.
