Monhoudou is a French municipality with 207 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Mamers and the Canton of Mamers . The inhabitants are called Monthélodiens .

Monhoudou is located about 35 kilometers north-northeast of Le Mans . Monhoudou is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Calez-en-Saosnois in the north and north-west, Commerveil in the north-east, Saint-Vincent-des-Prés in the east, Moncé-en-Saosnois in the east and south-east, Avesnes-en-Saosnois in the south-east, Marolles-les-Braults to the south and south-west and Courgains to the west.
In the south of the municipality is the Monhoudou airfield .
