Soulitré is a French municipality with 845 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Savigné-l'Évêque (until 2015: canton of Montfort-le-Gesnois ). The inhabitants are called Solutréens .

Soulitré is about 19 kilometers east of Le Mans . Soulitré is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Montfort-le-Gesnois in the north and north-west, Connerré in the north and north-east, Nuillé-le-Jalais in the east, Le Breil-sur-Mérize in the south-east, Ardenay-sur-Mérize in the south and Saint-Mars -la-Brière to the west.
