Louzes is a French municipality with 101 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Mamers (until 2015: canton of La Fresnaye-sur-Chédouet ). The inhabitants are called Louziens .

geography

Louzes is located about 50 kilometers north-northeast of Le Mans . Louzes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villeneuve-en-Perseigne in the north and west, Les Aulneaux in the east and northeast, Contilly in the east and southeast, Aillières-Beauvoir in the south and southeast and Villaines-la-Carelle in the south. It belongs to the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park .
