Beaufay is located about 19 kilometers northeast of Le Mans . Beaufay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Courcemont in the north, Broisne-lès-Sable in the north-east, Torcé-en-Vallée in the east, Sillé-le-Philippe in the south, Savigné-l'Évêque in the south-west, Courcebœufs in the west and Saint-Mars- sous-balloon in the northwest.
