Lamnay is about 40 kilometers east-northeast of Le Mans . Lamnay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cherré in the north and northwest, Saint-Jean-des-Échelles in the north and northeast, Montmirail in the east, Champrond in the southeast, Vibraye in the south, Lavaré in the southwest and Saint-Maixent in the west.
