The Communauté de communes du Pays de l'Huisne Sarthoise is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 27, 1996 and currently comprises 33 communities. The administrative headquarters are located in La Ferté-Bernard .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, nine municipalities of the abandoned Communauté de communes du Val de Bray joined the association. This increased the number of member communities from 25 to 34.

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Cherré and Cherreau became part of the Commune nouvelle Cherré-Au . This reduced the number of member communities to 33.
