Tuffé Val de la Chéronne is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Prévelles in the north and north-west, Saint-Denis-des-Coudrais in the north, Boëssé-le-Sec in the east, Sceaux-sur-Huisne in the south-east, Vouvray-sur-Huisne in the south, Beillé in the south and southwest and La Chapelle-Saint-Rémy in the west.

On January 1, 2016, Tuffé Val de la Chéronne was formed as Commune nouvelle from the formerly independent municipalities of Tuffé and Saint-Hilaire-le-Lierru . The administrative headquarters are in Tuffé.
