Courcemont is a French municipality with 679 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Le Mans and the Canton of Bonnétable (until 2015: Canton Ballon ). The inhabitants are called Courcemontais .

Courcemont is about 22 kilometers northeast of Le Mans . Courcemont is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Aignan in the north, Briosne-lès-Sables in the east, Beaufay in the south, Saint-Mars-sous-Ballon in the west and Mézières-sur-Ponthouin in the north-west.
