Briosne-lès-Sables is a French municipality with 542 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Mamers and in the canton of Bonnétable . Its inhabitants are called Briosnais .
geography
Briosne-lès-Sables is located about 22 kilometers northeast of Le Mans and about 40 kilometers south-southeast of Alençon . Briosne-lès-Sables is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Jauzé in the north, Terrehault in the north and north-east, Bonnétable in the east, Torcé-en-Vallée in the south, Beaufay in the south and south-west, Courcemont in the west and Saint-Aignan in the north-west.
